I realized this morning there's one fight per day going to the infamous Gold Coast out of the area I've been in for the past few days. $150 and much hectic last-minute planning later, that fight is mine! I could've done it by train for about the same price and an entire day's worth of travel, so the plane seemed feasible. Here I come, "world's best beaches."
